Jambin State School
Jambin State School is a small rural school situated approximately 30km north of Biloela on the Burnett Highway, about two kilometres north of the township of Jambin. Click here to view the latest Jambin Weather Forecast Community Groups Jambin Playgroup Jambin Hall Group The Jambin Community Hall was built in 1932 at the Jambin Township, situated 30km north of Biloela on the Bruce Highway. The Jambin Community Hall Group which was established after the hall was built consists of 10 committee members who are active in maintaining the hall and environs to a high standard for the benefit of the community. The Hall Group also supply in-kind support to the community offering assistance to other committees and organisations within the local area. Over the years, the Jambin Community Hall has provided accommodation in times of flood, arranged entertainment such as movie nights and dances. During the war it was used to billet Land Army Girls working locally. Today, the Jambin Hall is used for school concerts, trivia nights, QCWA functions, community meetings, indoor bowls and Australia Day functions. It is also hired out for private functions such as birthdays and weddings. The hall has a disabilty ramp and is a great venue for holding a special event.
